The 28 year old singer from South Arkansas, describes his music as delta style country. To us, it sounds like about an equal mixture of traditional delta blues and Texas outlaw. And, Ben claims as his significant influences as Son House and Merle Haggard. The result is a tough sound of a bar room fighter with a soft and warm message of the social and cultural angst. of the everyday person in small town USA, perfect to portray the small country town feeling we hope have in Wild Sunflowers.
