It’s fifteen years since the original American Skin story, and the remnants of the old Walker neo-nazi gang have just kept going. Now instead of dealing in drugs and guns, they deal in international intrigue and conspiracy on the highest level. They still exploit young troubled white youth as errand kids. Some things never change, or do they? In the muggy mosquito ridden swampland of Middle Florida and young white supremist commits a crime. He appears to be a perfect candidate as a buttboy for the new right conspirators, however, in a very short time, he shows all the capabilities of being something totally different. Dr. Roger Neillson (Rick Michaels) attempts to warn the others of Travis Cook’s (Christopher C. Bradt) potential for havoc, but master conspirator and wuper white collar gangster Rene Bergman (Susie Taylor) has other thoughs and forces Neillson to keep Cook in the system. “Eagles” uses the run and gun technique of shooting. At no time were there more than 4 lighting instraments in place, and usually the crew was only 2 people, and sometimes only one. Locations included, the Florida Keys, Dade County, Florida, Washington, DC, Richmond, Virginia, and Columbus, Ohio. The exceptional dramatics in “Eagles” is anchored by sensational newcomers, Taylor and Bradt. In support are an established group of indie actors such asMichaels, Greg Schroeder, Jon Osbeck, Lance Balding, and Ben Ives. Julia Clearwood and Dara Wedel heat the screen to a boiling point. Perhaps, the most interesting member of the cast is Mike Rohr, himself. After these many years, Rohr still cast the image of Rictor.
