Training Techniques:

It is very difficult to describe this workshop, so call me if you are
interested. This is a very brief idea of what we do.
I started this workshop 5 weeks ago w/o advertising with 2 people it is now up
to 8 people just by word of mouth.
This workshop is for people who truly want to be great at there job as actors,
not just good enough to get the job, but good enough to sustain a career. To be
able to do 8, 10, 15 takes just as strong as the first one without losing
continuity or your character. There are tons of classes in this town for cold
reading and auditioning but very few that teach you how to do the job once you get it. That's what I focus on.

I train mostly from my own experiences on the set. Exercises that I know work
in a working environment. I use the same techniques that the great teachers
taught the great actors with, people like Miesner, Strasberg, Adler, Hagen all
stemming from teachings of Constantin Stanislavski.

I use these methods because, they work, plain and simple, but I do adjust to
each person individually. So each person can get the most out of each exercise.
This class is not therapy; it is training to go to work. To truly find your own
voice. Consequently it is therapeutic.

Almost every other profession requires proof of training (i.e., diploma, degree
etc) in order to be able to do the job. To be an actor in this day and age you
just need a picture of yourself and you can call yourself an actor. It's a
shame. We owe it to this medium to do more then just make lots of money.

You can audit a class for free.
